Audubon Loop Trail

Trail end points: Lower Perkiomen Valley Park and Pawlings Road trailhead Length: 2.5 miles Trail surfaces: Asphalt Activities: Biking, Inline Skating, Wheelchair Accessible, Walking The Audubon Loop Trail is only 2.5 miles in length, but is over four miles when adjacent sections of the Perkiomen and Schuylkill River trails are added. The trail begins in Lower Perkiomen Valley Park immediately south of the Egypt Road bridge over Perkiomen Creek. After crossing that bridge, it turns southeast, crossing the Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary and running behind local subdivisions. The trail turns southwest near the John Audubon home, paralleling Pawlings Road to the trailhead just south of Route 422, where it joins the Schuylkill River Trail. Trail users can easily loop back to the starting point by taking the Schuylkill River Trail west to Oaks, then going back north on the Perkiomen Trail.
