COVID-19 Sources for Nonprofits & Local Businesses

Local businesses and individuals have contributed money and time to support needs that have been magnified by the COVID-19 crisis. These sources provide funds to community organizations and outreach programs, allowing them to serve better. New funds have been created specifically to benefit those struggling most during this pandemic. Through them, we hope for a brighter future.

Support Opportunities

Tri-County Community Network (TCN)

TCN supports nonprofit organizations and local small businesses that provide essential services to the community. During the pandemic, TCN continues to partner with organizations that serve our community, including the MontCoPA COVID-19 Response Fund. The Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation is one of the proud supporters of this fund.

Pottstown Trauma Informed Community Connection

This site provides a COVID-19 Montgomery County resource listing in English and Spanish. Contact them if you’d like to have your organization included. Categories include: emotional and behavioral health, housing, food, and benefits and financial assistance.

You also can request official Trauma Training (for organizations and individuals). By becoming trauma-informed, you increase your ability to create a safer physical and emotional environment for clients, staff, and loved ones.

COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund

This Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation fund benefits social-safety organizations and small businesses in the tri-county area that have been impacted by the coronavirus crisis.

For nonprofits, priority is given to organizations serving the community’s most vulnerable, those experiencing increased demand, and those providing basic necessities.

For small businesses, priority is given to those with fewer than five employees and less than $250,000 per year in revenue. Businesses committed to community revitalization, including through employment of local residents, also will be prioritized.

MontCoPA COVID-19 Response Fund

This fund benefits nonprofit organizations that successfully serve the needs of the county’s most vulnerable. It complements the work of Montgomery County's public health, state, and federal officials. Initial grant applications may be submitted for up to $5,000.

Apply here for a grant through the MontCoPA Response Fund.
All applications are reviewed, assessed for impact, and funded on a rolling basis dependent on available resources.
