Pottstown Polar Bear Swim & New Year’s Day Bonfire 2025

Take a healthful PLUNGE then warm up by the fire! A favorite event celebrates its 16th year. Registration for swim starts at 9:30 AM, the bonfire will start at 10 AM for spectators, and the plunge takes place promptly at 10:30 AM for registered participants. Swimmers are advised to wear “creek shoes/old sneakers.” After the plunge, warm up by the fire and grab a pork hot dog with sauerkraut for good luck.
