POTTSTOWN, Pa., June 4, 2020—With our physical offices closed, the Foundation’s staff continues to work remotely. Each member of our team is engaged in maintaining the normal flow of operations and working behind the scenes to meet the extraordinary needs of our community now and in the months ahead.
The spring and fall grant making cycles are continuing without interruption, and meetings previously scheduled at the Foundation’s offices have transitioned to a virtual setting. Foundation staff members can be readily contacted through email.
As the impact of the coronavirus pandemic continues, the COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund for Social Service and Micro Business at PAHWF will sustain social safety net organizations across the Tri-County area and support small businesses impacted by the pandemic. Help the Foundation make an impact or apply for a grant here.
The Foundation has also joined with leaders across the area in establishing the MontCoPA COVID-19 Response Fund. The rapid response fund will provide general operating support to nonprofits serving vulnerable Montgomery County residents. The need is significant, so contributions from individuals are vital to supplement the gifts provided by the fund’s founding partners. Foundation president David Kraybill and program officer Ashia Cooper will serve on the fund’s advisory committee.
