Foundation Announces New Program Officer
Pottstown, PA – October 29, 2013 – The Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation announces the promotion of Ashley Pultorak to Program Officer for Schools, Recreation and Active Living. In her new role, Pultorak will be responsible for managing grant programs and funding to schools, preschools, parks and recreation centers, and community organizations involved with physical activity programs.
In addition to managing the grantmaking process and programs, Pultorak will also focus on planning and promoting initiatives such as the annual Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies Conference, which is slated to take place in August 2014.
“For more than two years, Ashley has been a significant member of our team―involved in the day-to-day grant operations and organization of the Foundation,” said Dave Kraybill, Executive Director for the Foundation. “We’re excited for the new ideas and key initiatives she will bring to the table in her new role.”
Pultorak joined the Foundation in 2011 as the organization’s part-time Grants Assistant. In the community, she has served as an Assistant Coach to the field hockey program at Ursinus College, as well as with a local chapter of Girls on the Run. She is a resident of Schwenksville, PA and graduated from Duke University in 2009 with a degree in Art History.
