Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation Appoints New Controller Michael Jamgochian

Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation (PAHWF) has named Michael Jamgochian, CPA its new controller to spearhead the fiscal fitness of the organization and support its mission to inspire the health and prosperity for members of the greater Pottstown area.

Jamgochian is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities. Additionally, he will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating grantee applications to assess financials for grant giving.

“One of the things that inspires me most about joining the Foundation is not only its level of commitment to the community, but also its reciprocity of the community’s engagement with the programs and the people who work here. The Foundation is involved throughout all facets of the community’s culture – stretching beyond only financial contributions,” said Jamgochian.

Previously, Jamgochian was employed by national accounting firm CliftonLarsonAllen, where he served as an audit associate in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., specializing in nonprofit audit and tax services for social service organizations, healthcare, and financial institutions. 

“Michael’s diverse experience in the nonprofit sector is a great asset to the Foundation and the local organizations and grantees we support,” said President David Kraybill, PAHWF.

Currently, Jamgochian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

With a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Jamgochian graduated cum laude from West Chester University, West Chester, Pa. He is currently a resident of West Chester, Pa.

“It’s impressive that the Foundation has been so impactful in the community in awareness and engagement, and I’m excited to be a part of it,” said Jamgochian.
