Mark your calendars and join the staff of the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation (PAHWF) as they host the Mercury Mile this Wednesday, June 10.
A lunchtime mile-walk sponsored by the Mercury’s Fit for Life initiative, the Mercury Mile gets you up and moving during the work day and outside for some fresh air and exercise. Don’t forget to bring business cards as this is a great opportunity to network with area organizations, businesses, and community members.
Please meet at the Smith Family Plaza at noon (it’s best to arrive five minutes early), bring a friend and add some fun, physical activity to your lunch break. We hope you’ll join us as we walk (or run) a mile towards healthier living!
Be sure to visit pottsmercfit4life.wordpress.com and like its Facebook page as The Mercury Mile’s host and location changes by the week! If you’d like to be added to the email list, please contact Michilea Patterson at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your name from the email you would like to use. You will receive The Mercury Mile’s weekly location as well as other healthy living events happening in the area.
In the event of inclement weather, the mile will meet at the Pottstown YMCA indoor track. Participants are asked to meet in the lobby. The Pottstown YMCA is located at 724 N. Adams St. and membership is currently not required to use the track.
