The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy spent together with family and friends. However, it can also be a time of stress. According to a Healthline survey administered the week before Thanksgiving, the top four stressors of the holiday season are finances, healthy eating and exercise, picking the right gift and scheduling.
Although it may feel like everything is crashing down on you at once, don't sweat the small stuff. Accept that everything doesn't have to be perfect in order for your family to have a successful holiday season. Instead, focus on the good --your health, happiness, family, etc., and give back to those who are in need. Some of the best gifts come in small packages or may not be tangible at all.
