If you've set a goal to eat healthier in 2018, we're here to help you keep that New Year's resolution! Sometimes, resolutions are easier said than done, but there are little changes you can make here and there to improve your habits when it comes to food.
More fresh, less mess: Cut out sugar as much as possible from your diet. Instead of having a bowl of ice cream, try some yogurt, peanut butter or fruit to satisfy your sweet tooth. Clean out your pantry of all the junk and incorporate more fresh ingredients into your meals. Show your body some love and nourish it with only goodness, not processed foods with no nutritional value. Of course, treat yourself, but balance out those indulgences with some super foods into your breakfast, lunch and dinner routines. Healthy snacks can be yummy too!
Prep and set: A game-changer in clean eating is meal prep. Plan and cook your meals for the week ahead of time so you are prepared to stay on target and less likely to stray as you've already got everything you need! Here are some ideas to get you started. Make your life easier and set yourself up for success with some grab-and-go meals that give you the energy you need to get through the week.
Try new things: Expand your horizons and don't be afraid to try new, healthy foods you never thought you'd try before. Don't be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone until you find what works for you. You never know what you might love and have been missing out on!
