Happy Earth Day

It's Earth Day! Here's a few simple things you can do to help protect our planet:

Ride a Bike: Reduce your carbon footprint and travel by foot or a yellow Bike Pottstown bike instead of your car whenever possible. You'll get a great workout and fresh air while reducing greenhouse gases!

 

No more plastic: Instead of using plastic water bottle after plastic water bottle all day, get yourself a reusable bottle! Did you know that enough plastic is thrown away each year that it could circle the earth four times? That's a lot of plastic. Do your part and refill a reusable bottle from the tap or water cooler!

 

Turn off the lights: If you're not using a particular room, turn the lights off! It's as simple as that. You can even keep the lights off at the office in places that don't necessarily need lights on 24/7 like the restrooms. When you use it, you turn the lights on, and when you leave, turn them off. Quick and saves electricity!

 

Plant a tree: Trees offer many benefits to our environment and the more, the merrier! Not sure how? Start here!
