What's Easter without an Easter egg hunt? This year, if you're in charge of the family egg hunt, get creative and think outside the box. Put a healthy twist on your family's Easter festivities!
Tokens: Instead of putting candy in ALL of the eggs (one or two pieces won't hurt!), the kids can trade in for a healthy (but still yummy!) snack like seasonal fruit, string cheese, juice boxes, preztels, etc. Something they can munch on without all that sugar.
Toys: Fill the eggs with non-food, smaller items such as bouncy balls, stickers, silly putty, etc., that they can play with throughout the day. It will keep them entertained and they'll be pleasantly surprised once it's time to open what they gathered. For more ideas on what to put in your eggs, visit here.

Wishing you and yours a very happy and healthy Easter!
