Happy April Fools' Day! Here are some fun, healthy ways to celebrate.
Laugh often: Laughter really is the best medicine and is claimed to be more contagious than any common cold symptom! A powerful stress reducer, laughing and humor help you cope during a tough time. So, today, a few harmless pranks and jokes won't hurt if they cause that laugh-out-loud, straight from the belly kind of laugh.
Food Fake-out: Speaking of pranks...if you're looking for a fun, healthy one, try some of these delicious (and hysterical) April Fool's Day recipes. (These may not be what you expect!) They're fun and are sure to get the kids trying some new, healthy foods without the fight.
No-Joke Workouts: Challenge yourself to complete a work-out routine or exercise that you otherwise wouldn't have bothered to try. Get out of your comfort zone and push yourself. Need some ideas?
