Winter seems like a cold, dull season, without the vibrant flowers and blooming gardens of spring. But there are fruits and vegetables that are in season during the winter! Usually, produce is less expensive when it’s in season—and often tastes much better.
Like many, my family and I were snowed in this past weekend thanks to Winter Storm Jonas and the record-breaking amounts of snow it brought to our area.
The first snowfall of the year has come and gone and winter has finally arrived after an unseasonably warm December.
I caaannnn’t go out and walk, it’s too coooolllld (you whine)!! I’ll start up again in the spring – it’s freeeeeezing out there!
